Main tasks in the project:

  • Project coordination and responsibility for administrative project coordination and the direct interaction with the European Commission.
  • Development of the decomposition-coordination method including means for process model identification, model recognition and validation in the copper production use case.
  • Specifying the architecture and interface definitions enabling design and implementation of COCOP compatible systems and advanced process control and optimisation applications.
  • User study for gamification aspects to be included into plant-wide monitoring and control, and evaluation of the effectiveness of gamified elements for user behaviour, motivations and user experiences.
  • Dissemination of scientific results and communication towards standardisation bodies working on plant-wide monitoring and control as well as industry communication protocols
